Recipe Details

How to make them · David Ford
Morning Smoothie

Mix ingredients in a blender and add water or ice as needed to reach desired consistency.

Ground Beef Bowl

1) Cook vegetables

Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and bell pepper; sauté 4–5 minutes until softened.

Add diced tomato and cook another 2 minutes until slightly reduced.

2) Heat beef

Add the pre-cooked ground beef to the skillet.

Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and chili powder.

Stir well and cook for 3–4 minutes until hot and combined with the vegetables.

3) Assemble bowl

Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a bowl on top of bed of rice.

Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.

Mediterranean Bowl

1) Prepare the Base

- Warm cooked rice (or use a ready-made pouch).

- Place in a bowl as the foundation.

2) Add the Vegetables

- Add cherry tomatoes (halved), red onion (diced), cucumbers (sliced) and baby spinach.

3) Add the protein

- Slice cooked protein into thin strips (Weigh out the portion after cooking) and arrange over the vegetables.

4) Add the Flavor

- Crumble feta cheese over the bowl and sprinkle with oregano and black pepper if you'd like.

5) Dress the Bowl

- Drizzle with olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (if you'd like).

6) Serve and Enjoy

- Toss gently so the warm rice and protein slightly wilt the greens, blending flavors.

Chicken Caesar Low Cal Wrap

1) In a small bowl, lightly toss chicken, lettuce, dressing and Parmesan cheese.

2) Place mixture on tortilla. Fold up tightly.

Beef Chilli

NOTE: Ground beef is weighed out RAW

Instructions

1. Brown the beef

• Heat a large pot over medium-high.

• Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spoon (about 5–7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if desired.

2. Add onion and spices

• Stir in diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

• Add your spice blend and cook 1 minute to bloom the flavors.

3. Simmer

• Pour in diced tomatoes (with their juice), chicken stock, and black beans.

• Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

4. Taste and serve

• Adjust salt, pepper, or chili powder if needed.

• Serve hot. Garnish with cilantro if desired.

SIMPLE PREP OPTION:

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot and slow cook until ground beef is fully cooked through.

Asian Avocado Tuna Rice Bowl

1. Prepare the Base

* Place the cooked white rice into a bowl as the foundation of your dish.

2. Add the Tuna

* Drain the can of tuna.

* Flake the tuna with a fork and layer it evenly over the rice.

3. Add the Avocado

* Slice the avocado into cubes or thin slices.

* Arrange on top of the rice and tuna.

4. Season with Sauce

* Drizzle the low-sodium soy sauce evenly across the bowl.

* You can adjust the amount depending on taste.

5. Finish with Sesame Seeds

* Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for added crunch and flavor.

6. **Optional Add-Ons (low-calorie boosts)**

* Fresh cucumber, radish, or shredded cabbage for crunch.

* Pickled ginger or a squeeze of lime for brightness.

* Chili flakes or sriracha (sparingly) for heat.

7. Serve & Enjoy
